Dream to Reality: Mudgar Club's Inclusive Fitness Vision

image

Mudgar Club is the realization of a big dream of a man from a small village in Haryana. He struggled to access traditional fitness and envisioned making it available to every corner of the country at an affordable price and with the highest quality possible. Mudgar Club believes that not everyone has the luxury of spending hours in the gym or other fitness classes. Furthermore, they recognize that one form of exercise cannot be the solution for every individual, just like one diet cannot be the go-to for everyone.

Anjit Suhag, the director of Mudgar Club, is a renowned name in the field of yoga and has vast experience in teaching yoga to thousands of people. Anjit discovered the art of traditional exercise called MUDGAR, known as MUDGAL, MUGDAR, etc., in different parts of the world. He fell in love with this form of exercise and noticed the amazing changes it brought about, such as increased mobility, strength, mind-body coordination, etc., in just a few months.

Empowering India with Affordable Mudgar Fitness

As Anjit continued his training, he noticed that not many people knew about this form of exercise anymore. The trending forms of exercise had taken over the practice of MUDGAR so much that even at the ground level in local Akharaas, where it was originally practiced, people had started going to gyms. The few people who knew about the exercise were training individuals at a very high price. Additionally, the MUDGAR equipment was not affordable for every Indian.

This led to the formation of Mudgar Club, a company that sells premium mahogany wood training equipment at an affordable price so that every person in the country can train comfortably anywhere and anytime.

Mudgar Club that believes in Inclusion of all

But there was something that was still missing in Mudgar Club, and that was the participation of women. From the beginning of his journey as a student, Anjit could see that there were no women in this traditional art as an instructor to guide students. This led to the entry of Jyotsana Rawat, a high altitude runner with a few records under her name and an adventure sports enthusiast, which includes being certified in 5 types of extreme adventure sports in Mudgar Club's team.

The target is to make sure that this practice reaches as many females as males. After months of personal training under Anjit himself, Jyotsana, who comes with experience of training many runners too, has now started helping out other students in the class with their own traditional practice journey.

Jyotsana Rawat : Smiling and breaking away all taboos

Jyotsana believes in Smiling The Impossible, and at Mudgar Club, her impossible to smile at will be to make everyone get over the taboo that traditional practice is not for women.

Anjit and Jyotsana aim to reach out to every household with the motto HAR GHAR MUDGAR. Mudgar Club aims to add MUDGAR to the list of amazing things that India has given to the world since ancient times. It also aims to create more job opportunities and ensure that one less house sleeps hungry every night.
